Khaberni - Today, Wednesday, the security devices at the Giza Security Directorate in Egypt successfully arrested a young Egyptian artist on charges of fraud and deception of several citizens and seizing huge amounts of money from them.
The Egyptian authorities received complaints from citizens accusing the young artist of fraud and deception, and of taking their money under the pretext of investing it in fictitious investment projects.
The investigations revealed that the artist, known as "A. A.", exploited his celebrity and status through social media platforms to gain the trust of citizens, where he deliberately convinced his victims of the feasibility of investing with him in a fictitious company for real estate development and artistic production, promising them unreal profits and high financial returns.
The investigations also added that the victims later discovered they were subject to a fraud when it became clear that the announced projects did not exist, and they lost the money they had given him for investment purposes.
After legalizing the procedures, a security force moved to the residence of the artist, and he was arrested and led to the police station, in preparation for taking the necessary legal actions against him.
It is worth noting that the accused artist gained prominence recently through his participation in a number of known dramatic and cinematic works, including the films "Ahmed and Ahmed" and "The Bogeyman", in addition to the series "Fahd the Hero", among other works which contributed to enhancing his fame, which the investigations indicate he later used to attract his victims and convince them to invest with him.
