Khaberni - Haider Al-Freihat, the Director General of the Department of Statistics, said on Tuesday that the population and housing census process is divided into several stages, indicating that the completion rate in the enumeration phase has reached about 95%.
Al-Freihat added, in an interview with the program "Voice of the Kingdom", that there are estimates of 2.5 million families in Jordan, confirming that the exact number of families will only be known after the completion of the population census, as the census process is still ongoing.
He mentioned that the actual census phase will begin on October 1 and end on October 30, and we have 1400 enumerators.
