Khaberni - Jerash – All the official and partnering entities have completed the organizational, technical, and security arrangements for the public broadcasting event of the match between the Jordanian national team and its Algerian counterpart in the 2026 World Cup competitions, to be held in the city of Jerash, amidst extensive preparations to welcome the audience and provide a safe and distinctive environment to watch the match.
This effort is through coordination and cooperation between the Ministry of Youth, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Environment, the Tourism Promotion Authority, Jerash Governorate, and Greater Jerash Municipality, alongside various security institutions and relevant organizations, aiming to ensure the success of the event and to reflect it in a way that resonates with the national spirit and the public support for the national team "Al-Nashama".
The organizing bodies confirmed that the preparations included setting up display sites and giant screens, organizing the movement of entry and exit, and providing the necessary logistical, guidance and health services, in addition to comprehensive safety plans, crowd management, maintaining cleanliness and the environment, and protecting public facilities and heritage sites, ensuring the comfort and safety of attendees and enabling them to watch the match in a festive atmosphere.
The organizers indicated that the event represents an opportunity to enhance tourism, cultural and economic activities in Jerash Governorate, showcasing the city's unique tourism and heritage attributes, confirming that the success of these national events reflects the integration of roles among various official, local institutions and security agencies to serve the nation and enhance Jordan’s civilized image.
