Khaberni - Social media platforms in Egypt witnessed widespread sympathy and sadness after the young artist Fadi Khafaja appeared in a moving video and live broadcast via his personal accounts.
The artist expressed his deep despair and collapse due to the successive crises he is facing, whether on the family or professional level.
In detail, Khafaja posted a video through his official account on the "Facebook" platform, where he expressed with great emotion the deteriorating health situation of his father, saying: "I am a poor Egyptian citizen, my whole livelihood in life is my father and mother, and my father is dying.. I contacted everyone and no one is doing anything for me."
The Egyptian artist's crisis did not stop at the humanitarian and medical aspect of his father's illness, but also included financial difficulties and scarcity of work; he later appeared in a state of complete collapse during a live broadcast (live) on the "TikTok" app, complaining about the directors and producers ignoring him, and his continuous absence from participating in artistic works in the recent period.
Khafaja explained that he was forced to resort to the world of "TikTok" and open live broadcasts to receive gifts and financial support as an alternative to earning a living after the doors of drama were shut in his face. He expressed his shock at the betrayal of his close ones, saying: "Who doesn't have flaws? The closest friend to me is the one attacking me.. The only human I was expecting to defend me in my mistake stabbed me in the back."
He added defiantly and determinedly: "No matter what they say, don't speak, I will speak because the least of my rights is that I work.. but it's no use, I am sitting at home without a job."
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that Fadi Khafaja has raised his voice to complain about marginalization; years ago, he sent a strong message to the creators of cinema and drama via "Facebook", in which he questioned indignantly: "Oh directors and producers of Egypt, if after all these years the slave of God doesn’t work in a series or two or three, then who should work, oh people of the profession and ethics?", affirming his readiness to challenge any production entity with his competence, academic studies, and long experience which he began since his childhood.
