Khaberni - In its effort to enhance the practical and creative side of students, Arabian Amman University, through its Accounting Department within the College of Business, organized the Accounting Creativity Exhibition 2026, supervised by Dr. Muthanna Abu Alaan, Head of the Accounting Department, attended by Dr. Ohoud Al-Khasawneh, Dean of the College of Business, along with several faculty and administrative members, and a group of university students.
The exhibition included a collection of specialized booths that reflected the diversity of accounting fields, covering cost accounting, financial accounting, Islamic accounting, and financial analysis, where students presented innovative projects reflecting their scientific skills and their ability to employ academic knowledge in addressing practical issues. The exhibition also featured a distinguished success story of Mahmoud Mohammad Ayash, a graduate of the Accounting Department, who is currently the Branch Manager at the Jordan Islamic Bank and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Al Huda Wal Noor Private Schools, where he reviewed his career path and practical experience in front of the students, offering a range of advice and experiences to inspire them towards professional excellence and success.
Dr. Abu Alaan emphasized that the exhibition represents a leading scientific and practical platform that allows students to showcase their projects and innovations, contributing to the development of their professional skills and enhancing their practical abilities. He noted that the Accounting Department places significant importance on providing a stimulating educational environment that supports innovation and creativity, and works to align academic outputs with the evolving needs of the job market, by linking theoretical aspects with practical application and providing opportunities that allow students to develop their competences and enhance their professional readiness.
Dr. Al-Khasawneh commended the exceptional level of the participating projects, which reflected the creativity, distinction, and ability to employ academic knowledge in practical applications with added value. She also praised the efforts of the students, teaching staff, and organizing committees in making the exhibition a success and reflecting the prestigious academic level of the university. She affirmed that such events contribute to enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and the development of practical and professional skills among students, as well as their role in preparing competent cadres equipped with the knowledge and experience necessary to compete effectively in the job market and keep up with its evolving requirements.
The exhibition concluded with expressions of gratitude and appreciation to the supporting entities, notably Shi Shawerma restaurant chain and Good Day company, in recognition of their role in supporting the activities of the Accounting Department and sponsoring student initiatives, which enhances the culture of creativity and innovation, and enables students to develop their practical and professional skills, encouraging excellence and active participation in various academic and practical activities.
