Khaberni - Defender of the national team Yazan Al-Arab confirmed, on Sunday evening to Monday, that the team will be on time against Algeria and at the peak of focus.
Al-Arab added during a joint press conference with national team coach Jamal Salami held before facing the Algerian team that the result against Austria does not reflect what was presented by the Nashama (Jordanian team).
He continued: "We still have a lot to offer in the World Cup."
Al-Arab mentioned that the clash with Algeria is important, hoping that it reflects the brotherly spirit of the two teams.
Al-Arab said that Algeria is a strong team with achievements in world championships.
He confirmed that the Nashama are prepared to prove that their presence in the World Cup is deserved.
In his talk about the Austria match, he said: "Bad luck was with us against Austria and we promise everyone to perform better and focus for 90 minutes against Algeria."
The conference was part of the preparations of the national team to enter the second round of group competitions in the 2026 World Cup finals.
The conference is held in the press conference hall at San Francisco Bay Arena, which hosts the upcoming match between the two teams.
The press conference is followed by the official training of the Nashama at eight o'clock in the evening on Sunday San Francisco time (six o'clock in the morning on Monday Jordan time) at San Jose Park, where the first 15 minutes of the training session will be open to media for coverage and interviews.
The national team continues its technical and physical preparations for the match scheduled at six o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, June 23, Jordan time, at San Francisco Bay Arena in the United States, within the second round of the group stage.
The Nashama conducted their training on Friday at the University of Portland field under the leadership of coach Jamal Salami, with the participation of all players, amidst the presence of the media.
The delegation of the team departed to San Francisco in preparation for the upcoming match against the Algerian team.

The national team participates in Group Ten alongside the teams of Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
The national team started their World Cup journey with a 1-3 loss against Austria, while Argentina beat Algeria 3-0. The Nashama conclude their group stage journey by facing Argentina at five o'clock in the morning on Sunday, June 28, Jordan time, at the Dallas stadium.
