Khaberni - The name of the American actor Giancarlo Esposito has topped social media platforms in recent hours after the widespread news of his announcement to convert to Islam, amid significant audience interaction and social media users who shared video clips and images related to this step.
Turki Al-Sheikh, the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, revealed that the international star, known for his famous roles in the series "Breaking Bad" and the movie "7 Dogs", declared his Islam after spending a period in Saudi Arabia during the film's shooting, expressing his comfort and positive impression towards dealing with Muslims during his stay there.
Turki Al-Sheikh also shared a video on his account on the platform "X", showing Esposito inside one of the mosques performing the prayer for the first time after his conversion to Islam, accompanied by several team members and employees of "Salah" company, in a scene that attracted broad attention on digital platforms.
Esposito was not the only member of the "7 Dogs" team to announce his conversion to Islam, as he was preceded by the British producer, Cyrus Battle, who converted to Islam after the film's shooting in the kingdom. Turki Al-Sheikh had earlier posted the certificate of Battle's conversion to Islam dated November 7, 2025, accompanied by a comment that said: "And this is the certificate of the British producer's Islam after filming inside the kingdom.. Alhamdulillah".
