Khaberni - The national football team has escalated its technical and physical preparations in readiness to face its Algerian counterpart, as part of the competitions of the second round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
The national football team will hold its official press conference at dawn on Monday, concerning the match against the Algerian team, as part of their preparations for the second round of the competitions in the tenth group at the 2026 World Cup finals.
The press conference is scheduled for 2:30 PM Sunday San Francisco time (12:30 AM midnight Jordan time Monday), in the press conference room of the San Francisco Bay Arena, which will host the anticipated match between the two teams.
The press conference will be followed by the official training of Al-Nashama at 8:00 PM Sunday San Francisco time (6:00 AM Monday Jordan time) at San Jose Park, with the first 15 minutes of the training session available for media coverage and interviews.
The national team continues its technical and physical preparations for the scheduled match at 6:00 AM Tuesday, June 23, Jordan time, at the San Francisco Bay Arena in the United States, as part of the second round of the group stage.
Al-Nashama conducted their training on Friday at Portland University's stadium under coach Jamal Salami, with the participation of all players, amidst media presence.
The team's delegation departed for San Francisco in preparation for the anticipated clash against the Algerian team.
The Al-Nashama squad participating in the World Cup includes 26 players: Yazid Abu Laila, Abdullah Al-Fakhouri, Nour Bani Attiyeh, Abdullah Naseeb, Saad Al-Rousan, Yazan Al-Arab, Salim Obeid, Mohammad Abu Al-Nadi, Hossam Abu Zehab, Ihsan Haddad, Anas Badi, Muhannad Abu Taha, Mohammad Abu Hashish, Mohammad Abu Ghoush, Nour Al-Rawabdeh, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Saadeh, Rajai Ayed, Amer Jamous, Mohammad Al-Dawud, Mahmoud Merdhi, Odeh Al-Fakhouri, Moussa Al-Taamari, Mohammad Abu Zureiq, Ali Azayza, Ali Alwan.
The national team participates in the tenth group alongside teams from Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
The national team kicked off its World Cup campaign with a 1-3 loss to Austria, while Argentina defeated Algeria 3-0. Al-Nashama will conclude their group stage journey by facing Argentina at 5:00 AM Sunday, June 28, Jordan time, at Dallas Stadium.
