AlFaraya Follows Work Progress at King Hussein Bridge and Announces New Development Projects

Khaberni - Today, the Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya conducted a visit to the King Hussein Bridge to observe the work procedures and to personally assess the level of services provided to travelers.

Al-Faraya emphasized that the uniqueness of the bridge and the nature of work there differ from other border centers, as it connects Jordan with the Palestinian territories and is subject to Israeli side procedures.

He noted that there are specific seasons that see an increase in mobility and a rise in the number of travelers, concentrated during the summer season and the seasons of Hajj and Umrah.

Al-Faraya explained that a tender is currently being implemented to develop the infrastructure of the bridge, and halls and shelters have been set up for travelers to wait, equipped with essential services and suitable sanitary facilities, noting that work is ongoing to develop them, alongside the start of other infrastructure projects in the coming days.
