Khaberni - Death took young Egyptian actor Karim Abdel Aleem away at the age of 29 on Sunday, after he was involved in a tragic traffic accident in the Sheikh Zayed area of Cairo.
The artist Hossam Dagher revealed the painful details of the incident, noting that the deceased was standing near the distinguished neighborhood when a speeding car hit him and instantly took his life at the scene.
He said that despite the attempts of passers-by to stop the car responsible for the accident, the driver fled, leaving his car at the scene.
He added that upon the arrival of security forces and ambulances, it was determined that the young artist had died immediately, and his body was transferred to the morgue of Sheikh Zayed Hospital to obtain burial permits.
The authorities documented the incident and are currently intensifying efforts to apprehend the fleeing driver.
It is worth mentioning that the deceased artist was born in Gharbia governorate in 1997 and began his artistic career at Tanta University theatre before honing his talent by joining the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts.
The late artist left a promising mark in a number of prominent dramatic works, including his portrayal of the character "Amin Atallah" in the series "The Laughing Weeper" in 2022, his participation in the series "Mister Mayor", and his notable role as "Wasfi" in the series "Zainhum" in 2023.
