The Israeli Army Reveals the Name of One of Its Soldiers Killed in Southern Lebanon

Khaberni - The Israeli army announced the death of Sergeant Niv Habshush, the fourth soldier who fell in an attack on an Israeli tank in southern Lebanon the day before yesterday.
Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Sergeant Habshush, 20, from Givat Benjamin, was the fourth soldier to fall in the southern Lebanon disaster, alongside battalion commander Dor Ben Simon, Yoav Klein, and Liav Kabaya.
It mentioned that after his death, his family found notebooks and personal diaries he left behind, in which he wrote: "Being a soldier is an honor, not an obligation. Don't do favors for anyone".

In a related development, the Israeli army announced on Saturday the deaths of two officers during military operations in southern Lebanon, in two separate incidents, one involving a drone and the other a tank accident.

Earlier, the Israeli army announced that the number of its fatalities had risen to 30 since the war on Iran and Lebanon began on February 28th last year.
