The Nashama The Opportunity Still Stands
الكاتب: مجدي محمد محيلان

With the beginning of  the second matches for the World Cup teams within their groups… the question arises: What are our national team’s chances of qualifying for the second round, the round of (32)? And is that possible?

I have a feeling that the winner of the football epic (Jordan and Algeria)  will qualify for the next round among the best eight thirds, according to the rules and regulations of the tournament, regardless of the last match for both teams.

And here, the point is that beating the sister nation Algeria (the competitor) is more important (in the numerical calculations) than defeating Argentina!

Since the World Cup champion needs only one point from two matches to ensure qualification even as the third in their group, while the Nashama’s victory over Algeria would put them ahead of it in points and goal difference as well as in direct confrontations, thus ensuring their advancement to the round of 32.

Some ask: Can we really surpass the Algerian team? And the answer is yes, but the essence lies in taking action, as the Nashama have surpassed stronger teams through regional and continental championships in past years... such as Japan, South Korea, Iran, Uzbekistan.... and these teams currently represent in the World Cup.

In conclusion, with the spirit of the Nashama (our distinctive mark), their high technical skills, and no better proof than our star Ali Alwan _ no power but with Allah _ winning the Best Player award out of four teams, one of which included a player who was crowned the world's best eight times

(Messi), and their determination to leave a significant impact on the global stage, and above all _ relying on Allah _ I see that the Nashama are capable, without over-optimism, of overcoming the Algerian team’s hurdle through which, God willing, the qualification will come, as the Nashama spirit resonates:

I shall make the difficult easy until I achieve my desires..

For hopes are only subdued by the patient.
