Khaberni - An American official said that Witkoff is en route to Switzerland while "Kushner" is there, preparing to start negotiations with Iran.
The "Axios" website also reported an American official saying that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi intends to head to Switzerland today, Saturday, noting at the same time that this step is subject to change and depends on developments in Lebanon.
According to the same source, Araghchi has informed a number of his counterparts that a ceasefire in Lebanon is a crucial issue for Tehran.
Iran insists on seeing the ceasefire actually come into effect before heading to Switzerland.
This comes also after the arrival of the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Switzerland on Friday afternoon, where he met with the Swiss Foreign Minister to discuss efforts to enhance security in the region and start negotiations between Iran and the United States.
