Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa affiliated with the Houthis renewed its warning to Israel against continuing its military operations in Lebanon, which resulted in thousands of victims killed and wounded, and extensive destruction of civilian property.
The ministry described in a statement the Israeli attack on Lebanon as a "flagrant violation of international law and a clear breach of the Iranian-American memorandum of understanding" which stipulates the immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanese territory.
The ministry expressed its belief that the Israeli escalation aims to undermine efforts to end the conflict in the region, and thwart attempts to achieve security and stability.
The statement also affirmed that the "Axis of Jihad and Resistance" will not stand idly by in the face of the ongoing Israeli escalation, considering the operations carried out by the Lebanese resistance as part of the "legitimate right to self-defense" according to international customs and treaties.
Furthermore, the ministry praised the remarks of the leader of the Ansar Allah group, Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, which confirmed Yemen's continued readiness for any developments or escalation by the United States or Israel, whether in Lebanon or Gaza or any other front within the "Axis of Jihad".
