18 people were martyred and two others injured in a series of intense air raids conducted by Israeli warplanes since dawn today on the areas of Harouf, Kafr Sir, Sharqiya, Jabshit, and Abbasiya in southern Lebanon.
A Lebanese security source told a reporter for the Jordan News Agency (Petra) in Beirut that rescue and civil defense teams continue to search for missing persons under the rubble, noting that Israeli warplanes carried out raids targeting the Abu Rashid heights in Western Bekaa.
The source added that the number of Israeli raids exceeded 12 raids in the last few hours, concurrent with a destructive artillery bombardment targeting 10 towns in the Nabatieh district.
