Khaberni - Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, represented by the Academic Development Division of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Office, concluded the training workshop entitled "Data Analysis Fundamentals for Faculty Members", which witnessed the participation of (19) faculty members, as part of the university's effort to enhance research and digital skills and to promote the culture of data-driven decision making.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Bilal Hawashin from the Faculty of Science and Information Technology, where he reviewed the fundamental concepts of data science and its growing importance in academic and research fields, in addition to introducing the stages of data collection, organizing, processing, and preparing for analysis.
The workshop also discussed the foundations of data analysis and methods for studying relationships between variables, and ways of representing and visually presenting data using modern tools, contributing to the support of scientific research and the improvement of academic outputs and evidence-based decision-making.
The workshop emphasized the importance of developing the data analysis skills of faculty members and their utilization in teaching and scientific research, thereby enhancing the university’s ability to keep up with digital transformations and requirements of the knowledge economy.
