Khaberni - Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, represented by the Academic Development Division affiliated with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Office, concluded the activities of the training workshop titled "Basics of E-Learning for Faculty Members", which was participated by (13) faculty members, as part of the university's programs aimed at developing academic and technical competencies of the teaching staff.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Khaled Jaber, director of the E-Learning and Open Learning Resources Center, with the participation of the deputy director of the center, Engineer Musa Salah. The workshop reviewed the basic concepts of e-learning and its role in supporting and developing the educational process, along with introducing the standards for designing e-learning courses and their main components.
The workshop also discussed the mechanisms for preparing digital educational content and managing courses through learning management systems, effective communication methods with students, and employing electronic assessment tools to enhance academic interaction and improve the quality of education and learning.
This workshop is part of a series of training activities carried out by the Academic Development Division aimed at enabling faculty members to employ modern technologies in university education and keep up with global trends in the field of e-learning.
