AlIssawi sponsors a national celebration on the occasion of the eightieth independence day and national holidays in the Norther

Khaberni - The Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Youssef Hassan Al-Issawi, sponsored this Thursday evening a national celebration on the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of the Kingdom's independence and national holidays, held in the tents of the Sardiya tribes in the Subha area in the northeastern Northern Badia in Mafraq Governorate, by invitation from Senator Rakan Hamada Al-Fawaz.

The celebration was attended by the governor of Mafraq, Firas Abou Qaoud, and the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom, His Royal Highness Prince Mansour bin Khaled Al Saud, the Iraqi ambassador, Omar Al-Barzanji, the Tunisian ambassador, Mufida Al-Zribi, along with a number of senators, deputies, tribal sheikhs, civil and military figures, and a large gathering from the local community.

Prior to the start of the celebration, a national march was held accompanied by public security music and horses, starting from the Pilot roundabout in the Subha area towards the celebration site, in a scene that reflected pride and esteem for the homeland and its achievements and its longstanding journey since independence.

At the beginning of the celebration, Senator Al-Fawaz emphasized that independence is the most prominent title in the Jordanian national narrative, and the story of the land and the people, which outlines the features of the Jordanian national identity and highlights its historical, civilizational, and humanitarian depth. He noted that this narrative has been linked with a Hashemite journey that led the project of the Jordanian state and carried the message of building, renaissance, and defending the nation’s causes through various historical stages.

He added that this timeless national occasion invokes the memory of the Jordanian martyrs who sacrificed their lives defending the sanctities, and whose blood mingled with the soil of Palestine, and who defended this Arab sanctuary to remain a robust barrier and a strong shield protecting its borders and preserving its dignity.

Al-Fawaz confirmed that independence resulted in the establishment of national institutions—educational, economic, health, security, and developmental—and enhanced Jordan's role in supporting Arab causes, primarily the Palestinian issue. He referred to the Hashemites who have carried the banner of defending the nation’s causes and rights throughout their honorable history, along with steadfast positions that enhanced Jordan's status and its national and humanitarian role.

He pointed out that Jordan has always been and will continue to be a welcoming home for all brethren driven by their circumstances to knock on its doors, relying on a steady approach and authentic Arab and human values that have been part of its historical mission.

The celebration included a film titled "The Journey of the Kings and the Banners of the Badia", showcasing the achievements since the time of independence and the role played by the Hashemite leadership in leading the journey of building, accomplishing, and solidifying the path of the modern Jordanian state.

The celebration also featured artistic and heritage performances by the Rajef Group for Heritage Revival, poetic segments by poet Ghazi Hamad Al-Awn, along with patriotic songs by artist Saad Abu Tayeh, embodying the meanings of belonging and pride in the homeland and its Hashemite leadership.

The celebration represented a national occasion that recalled bright milestones in Jordanian state history and the achievements accomplished during this period that enhanced the Kingdom's status and cemented its developmental journey, under the Hashemite leadership, which has continued to carry the message of construction and giving since the dawn of independence.
