The Hashemite Charity Organization confirms the continuation of relief support to Lebanon

Khaberni - Hussein Al-Shibli, the Secretary-General of the Hashemite Charity Organization of Jordan, said on Thursday that the eighth convoy loaded with aid was sent to Lebanon, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Jordanian Armed Forces, and the Supreme Relief Authority in Lebanon, which assesses needs in the affected areas.

He added to "Al Mamlaka" channel that the Hashemite Charity Organization of Jordan focused on relief and medical supplies due to the great need for these materials in Lebanon, pointing out the participation of a number of UN and international organizations.

He explained that the relief work environment in Lebanon is much easier than in some other areas like the Gaza Strip, and that the official entities in Lebanon receive relief materials and distribute them to the affected parties.

Al-Shibli confirmed that Jordan plays a clear role in relief work and humanitarian response, and in supporting affected countries, relying on professionalism, experience, and high competence in delivering relief aid.

He referred to the Israeli occupation's attempts to obstruct the delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip, in addition to limiting the quantities that enter the sector, thereby increasing the difficulties faced by the Gaza Strip.
