Khaberni - The case of the death of the child “Tia” inside one of the private schools in Shubra El-Kheima, Egypt, has witnessed a new judicial development.
The Public Prosecution of the Second Section of Shubra El-Kheima in Egypt decided the release of a school official named “S”, along with her daughter who represents the legal representative of the school, in addition to two educational supervisors, related to the incident of the child Tia falling from the sixth floor inside the school, against a financial bail of 25,000 Egyptian pounds for each accused.
The investigations revealed that the Public Prosecution has charged the school official and her daughter with endangering children’s lives by managing an educational activity without completing the necessary legal licenses, as well as receiving kindergarten children KG1 and KG2 inside the school on a day that was not scheduled or authorized for their presence.
The Public Prosecution has also charged the two educational supervisors with manslaughter, as they were responsible for the supervision and monitoring activities within the stage, which includes monitoring the performance of teachers and supervisors, and ensuring the security of children’s movement and their surveillance during their presence inside the school.
The investigating authorities continue their proceedings in the incident that resulted in the death of the child Tia, aiming to clarify all the circumstances surrounding the accident, and determine the criminal and administrative responsibilities of all parties involved in the case.
