Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, discussed on Thursday with the Slovenian Foreign Minister, Toni Kajzer, bilateral relations and regional developments.
Al-Safadi congratulated Kajzer in a phone call on his new responsibilities as the Foreign Minister of Slovenia, and discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations, build on the development achieved, and find broader prospects for joint cooperation in various areas of interest to both countries.
The ministers also discussed the efforts made to end escalation in the region and restore security and stability, in light of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran.
Al-Safadi and Kajzer agreed to continue coordination and consultation to follow up on efforts to increase cooperation between the two friendly countries, and concerning regional and international issues of mutual interest.
