Khaberni - The Food and Drug Public Corporation announced brand names for specific samples caught in the markets from Jameed of non-local origin, proven non-compliant, carrying a label indicating that they are not manufactured by local factories or labs.
The institution, in a press statement today, Wednesday, stated that the samples proven by laboratory analysis to be non-compliant bear the following brand names:
Sultan Rawabi
Prince Rawabi
Al-Hajjah
Jameed Al-Laban (without a clear trademark)
Furthermore, the institution added that the supervision and inspection teams destroyed about 35 cartons of the mentioned samples and initiated necessary actions according to the regulations, confirming the continuation of tracking procedures as part of the early periodic proactive monitoring plan for the dairy season.
The institution affirms that these varieties did not enter through official methods, and urges fellow citizens not to purchase food products from unknown sources and to ensure they are approved by the Food and Drug Public Corporation according to regulations.
