Khaberni - His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, visited the company "Playground Global" yesterday, Tuesday, a leader in early investment in technology-focused startups.
His Highness discussed, at the company’s headquarters in California, USA, the possibility of cooperation and expanding investment opportunities for the company in Jordan, pointing out the investment benefits in the Kingdom, and the role of the National Council for Future Technology in supporting the establishment of high-efficiency technology projects.
His Highness the Crown Prince mentioned that Jordan has produced outstanding talents in the technology sector over the past years, and that work is ongoing to develop educational curricula to keep pace with developments in this sector, which enhances the Kingdom's position and expands opportunities for youth in it, leading to innovative technological solutions.
During the visit, the possibility of developing advanced technological talents in Jordan in the fields of semiconductors, quantum computing, robotics, and biomedical engineering was discussed.
His Highness, during a tour of the company, viewed models of robotics technology uses that were developed at the company, and figures shaped by three-dimensional printing technology.
Accompanying His Highness during the visit were Jordan's Ambassador to Washington, Dina Kawar, and the Director of the Office of the Crown Prince, Dr. Zaid al-Baqain.
