Khaberni - The Nashama national team is currently engaging in a highly anticipated historic match against the Austrian team.
This match marks the opening of their first historic endeavor in the 2026 World Cup finals, followed by two matches against the Algerian national team and then the Argentine national team.
The Jordan Football Association announced on Wednesday the national team's lineup for their match against their Austrian counterparts in their first game of the 2026 World Cup.
The main lineup includes: Yazid Abu Layla as goalkeeper, and Ihsan Haddad, Abdullah Naseeb, Yazan Al-Arab, Mohammed Abu Al-Nadi, Mohanned Abu Taha, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Musa Al-Taamari, Oday Al-Fakhouri, and Ali Allwan.
The reserve players include: Abdullah Al-Fakhouri, Noor Bani Atiyeh, Saad Al-Rosan, Salem Abeid, Hossam Abu Al-Zahab, Mohammed Abu Ghoush, Mohammed Abu Hashish, Anas Badawi, Rajai Ayyad, Amer Jamoos, Mohammed Al-Dawood, Ibrahim Saadeh, Mahmoud Moradi, Ali Azayzeh, and Mohammed Abu Zreiq.
The national team's technical director, Jamal Al-Salami, emphasized the importance of a strong start against the Austrian team.
Al-Salami, in press statements before the match, said the team is looking forward to a good start amidst a large audience presence, adding: "We need to start well against Austria".
