Khaberni - Khalil Al-Rahman Charity Association honored the vice president of the Board of Directors at the Middle East University, Dr. Ahmad Yaqoub Nasser Al-Din, during a national celebration held under the patronage of His Excellency the president of the Royal Hashemite Court, Mr. Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi, on the occasion of the eightieth Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and in celebration of national holidays.
The honor of Dr. Nasser Al-Din was in appreciation of his efforts and outstanding contributions in private higher education leadership, entrepreneurship, community service, and his effective role in supporting the national development journey and enhancing the values of excellence and giving.
Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Din is considered one of the prominent academic and national figures who contributed to supporting and developing the private higher education sector in Jordan, through adopting innovative initiatives that aligned with the royal directives led by His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, in the fields of technical and vocational education, thereby enhancing the quality of education and its outcomes and matching them with the labor market requirements.
His contributions were also prominent in the field of entrepreneurship through supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and empowering youth, providing a nurturing environment for creativity and innovation, alongside his role in launching and sponsoring numerous community and developmental initiatives in various provinces of the kingdom, which contributed to reinforcing values of social responsibility, giving, and service to the nation.
Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Din expressed his pride in this recognition stressing that it represents an additional responsibility to continue working and giving in service to the nation.
He said, “I am honored by this recognition that came on a dear national occasion to all Jordanians, and I see it as an appreciation for all the efforts that are made for the elevation and progress of Jordan. We will continue working to support the journey of quality education and youth empowerment and enhance the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, in line with the lofty royal visions that place the Jordanian individual at the forefront of development priorities and building the future."
The ceremony witnessed the honoring of a number of national figures who contributed to serving the nation, each in their field of specialization, attended by official, social, and cultural figures, in an atmosphere that embodied the pride in the achievements of the Jordanian state and its developmental journey.
