Khaberni - Royal Jordanian announced the cancellation of its flights to Iraq, as well as the scheduled morning flights to Syria and Lebanon, due to the closure of Iraqi, Syrian, and Lebanese airspace and the resulting operational restrictions that have impacted flight movement in the region.
The company explained in a press release that it continuously monitors regional developments in coordination with the relevant official authorities and the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, and makes its operational decisions based on approved technical and security assessments to ensure the highest levels of safety and operational security.
Royal Jordanian confirmed that its other scheduled flights from Amman continue to operate as usual according to the approved schedules, with ongoing monitoring of updates and evaluation of any possible impacts on its flight network.
The company also stated that it would continue to inform passengers of any changes to the flight schedules or operational activities as soon as they are approved, urging passengers to monitor the status of their flights through the website of Royal Jordanian and its official channels.
Royal Jordanian reiterated its assurance that the safety of its passengers and flight crews remains a top priority, and that all operational decisions are made according to the highest safety standards and in full coordination with the concerned authorities.
