Khaberni - The CEO of Royal Jordanian, Samer Al-Majali, said on Sunday that all company flights are operating according to the usual schedule, except for the flights to Iraq which have been canceled until further notice.
Al-Majali added in statements to "Al-Mamlaka" channel that the morning flight of Royal Jordanian to Syria had been canceled.
In a related context, the Minister of Government Communication and official spokesperson of the government, Mohammad Al-Momani, said that the Jordanian Hashemite Kingdom's airspace was breached on Sunday evening by a number of missiles due to the renewed escalation in the region.
Al-Momani added that as a result, sirens were activated by the Public Security Directorate to provide residents with necessary guidance and information immediately.
He confirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces are closely monitoring regional developments, performing their duties, and mobilizing all efforts to protect the nation and its properties.
He renewed the warning against any attempts to breach the airspace of the kingdom from any party, affirming that no party will be allowed to turn Jordan into a battlefield for anyone.
