Khaberni - Ghazi Al-Hadid, the Executive Director for Districts and City Services at Greater Amman Municipality, stated that the number of sacrifices sold until the fourth day of Eid Al-Adha reached 27,000, from a total of about 42,000 available at the 9 approved sacrificial sales sites of the Municipality across various areas of the capital, Amman.
Al-Hadid, in statements to the "Kingdom" channel on Saturday, indicated that this year's sales volume was lower compared to last year, amidst rising prices of sacrifices.
Al-Hadid added that after the season ends, the teams of Amman Municipality will begin removing the sacrificial sale stalls and start the cleaning and sterilization processes at the sites, by removing organic waste, washing the sites, and sterilizing them as part of measures aimed at maintaining public health and controlling the spread of odors and insects.
