This buffalo was first known in Bangladesh and captured attention with features that some likened to the American president, causing a global stir after its images were widely circulated.
In Egypt, with the advent of Eid al-Adha and the increase in sacrificial slaughter during the festival, an Egyptian version of this buffalo appeared among the livestock being prepared for slaughter at a slaughterhouse in Dakahlia governorate, northern Egypt.
The videos shot at a slaughterhouse in the village of Meet Al-Karma in Dakahlia governorate sparked interactions among citizens and social media users amid widespread circulation of the video clips.
The buffalo, which appeared in Bangladesh and gained worldwide fame, suffers from vitiligo and was nicknamed "Donald Trump" because of the blonde tuft of hair hanging over its forehead, a feature many say mimics the distinctive hairstyle of the American leader.
It weighs about 700 kilograms, is raised on a farm in the Narayanganj area near the capital Dhaka, but authorities rescued it from slaughter after the global uproar about it.
