Khaberni - As part of the comprehensive inspection campaign carried out by the Public Food and Drug Administration during the blessed Eid Al-Adha period, aimed at ensuring the safety of the food materials circulated in food establishments, specialized inspection and control teams at the institution conducted about 1000 inspection tours, covering various regions of the kingdom.
The institution explained, in a press statement, that the results of the inspection campaign showed that most establishments comply with the health conditions for food handling, while 15 food establishments were stopped from operating due to the identification of certain health violations, in addition to the closure of one shawarma restaurant for violating the health conditions approved by the institution.
The Director General of the institution, Professor Dr. Rana Obeidat, confirmed the continuation of the inspection campaigns carried out by the institution to protect consumer health, around the clock.
