Khaberni - For the fifth consecutive year, the Jordan Kuwait Bank continued its supportive presence for youth and sports initiatives by providing its golden sponsorship to the "Legend Challenge" initiative, organized by the IRIS International Academy in collaboration with the Argentine football legend Javier Saviola, reflecting the bank's commitment to supporting young Jordanian talents and opening new horizons for them to reach advanced professional levels.
This year, the initiative witnessed a wide turnout from various provinces of the kingdom, with approximately 6,000 players born in 2013 and 2014 registering to participate in football tryouts, an indicator of the growing presence of the initiative and the trust it has gained as a platform that contributes to discovering promising football talents and developing them within a professional training environment overseen by international sports specialists and experts.
The challenge program included a series of intensive tryouts aimed at selecting the most distinguished players, alongside interactive activities designed to broaden the participants' horizons and introduce them to new experiences and fields, including a field visit to one of the branches of the Jordan Kuwait Bank to learn about the banking work environment and the nature of modern financial services, in a step aimed at enhancing the youth's awareness of the importance of developing personal and professional skills alongside their sports skills.
The initiative's events also featured a dinner party attended by the organizers, partners, and supporters, celebrating the ongoing success of the challenge and its role in supporting the sports and youth sector in Jordan.
On this occasion, the CEO of the Jordan Kuwait Bank Group, Haitham Al-Batikhi, said: The continued support of the bank for the "Legend Challenge" reflects a firm belief in the importance of investing in the energies of Jordanian youth and enabling them to access quality opportunities that open promising future pathways for them, emphasizing that sports have become a real platform for building confidence, discipline, and ambition in the new generations, in addition to its role in honing talents and enhancing the spirit of teamwork and positive competition.
