Khaberni - Petra University organized, under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Rami Abdel Rahim, the university president, a ceremony to honor the students participating in the sports training courses held during April, in cooperation with various Jordanian sports federations, as part of the university's commitment to developing physical skills and polishing student talents.
These courses were organized by the Sports Activity Department at the Student Affairs Deanship, with the participation of 130 students from various disciplines, covering four sports: gymnastics, karate, judo, and kickboxing. The courses were supervised by a selection of national team coaches and lecturers accredited by the participating sports federations, which gave them a professional aspect and an advanced level of training.
The honoring ceremony was attended by the heads of the sports federations and the coaches overseeing these courses, where they appreciated this fruitful cooperation with Petra University, and confirmed their commitment to continuing organizing joint activities that contribute to building the well-rounded student personality, which combines academic excellence with sports distinction.
Professor Dr. Iyad Al-Mallah, Dean of Student Affairs, explained that organizing these courses comes as part of a methodical plan aimed at expanding the sports participation base, discovering talents, and supporting the university teams with elements capable of achieving more accomplishments in the future.
