Khaberni - Businessman and former president of Al-Wehdat Club, Dr. Bashar Al-Hawamdeh, has called for the creation of a rescue committee from the competent general body, to help the current administration stabilize the club after the team's season ended without achieving any championship and failing to qualify for Asian competitions.
In a post on social media, Al-Hawamdeh stated that some of the current administration of Al-Wehdat are collecting resignations in order to lead the club into a "dark tunnel" for personal gain, according to his description.
Al-Hawamdeh considers that the solution is to support the administration through a rescue committee from the competent general body, owners of thought, rather than calling for resignations that may lead to greater destruction than the current deterioration. He expressed that Al-Wehdat needs bold decisions from the remaining honorable members of this administration.
Following is Al-Hawamdeh's post as it appeared on his pages:
As I watched the cup match anxiously, it really hurt me to see Al-Wehdat fans "the group" raising the Wehdati group emblem while I couldn't see the Al-Wehdat emblem in that scene. Some might not see it as an important observation, but I remembered how the group's administration fought to place their own patch above the club's emblem in basketball games and I prevented them until the Al-Wehdat emblem was above all.
It is very sad to see the general appearance of the young Al-Hussein activity administration compared to our decrepit administration.
When I said I fear for Al-Wehdat, I did not mean a championship per se, but rather the continuation of the entity.
Some of the Al-Wehdat administration are collecting resignations to lead Al-Wehdat into a dark tunnel for personal gains, the same individuals who previously bargained for personal financial gains in past elections, but I refused for the sake of principle not money, insisting that the solution is thought, youth, and money, not decrepit administrations.
Today, we must support the administration through a rescue committee from the competent general body, owners of thought, and not call for resignations that may lead to greater destruction than what has occurred. Al-Wehdat needs bold decisions from the remaining honorable members of this administration.
