Khaberni - The vehicle and driver licensing administration announced, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and based on the provisions of the vehicle plates system and its amendments number (52) for the year 2006, the offering of a collection of distinctive numbers (single, double, triple, quadruple, quintuple) for sale at an electronic public auction, where the proceeds from these numbers will be allocated to the University Student Support Fund.
The licensing administration confirmed that those interested in participating in the electronic public auction can create an account on the vehicle and driver licensing management website and submit a bidding request starting from Wednesday, 13/5/2026, until the end of the auction. Conditions and terms can be viewed, and the required, refundable deposits can be paid, which are specified for each number.
The electronic public auction on all numbers will start on Tuesday, 19/5/2026, at 12:00 PM and conclude on the same day, according to the times specified for each number.
After the auction ends for the first number, the deposit paid by those who did not win will be credited so they can bid on the remaining numbers. However, the person who won the first number must pay a new deposit if they wish to bid on other numbers, and the deposits will be returned to their owners at the end of the auction.
Sales tax of (16%) of the highest bid value + 25 Dinars as a retention fee for the number will be added.
Upon the initial awarding to the highest bidder, this counts as official notification to them to pay (10%) of the highest bid amount within a period of (10) days from the date the number is transferred, including the deposit amount, or pay the full bid amount.
After the bidder has paid the (10%) of the highest bid amount during the period of (10) days from the date the number is transferred to them, they are granted a period of (30) days from the transfer date to pay the full or partial bid value, and otherwise, they would be considered as declining and lose their right in the number and the (10%) of the bid amount that was paid, including the deposit, for the benefit of the treasury.
Participating in the auction is an acknowledgment by the bidder of having reviewed the specific terms and conditions and agreeing to them.
The auction is also accessible from anywhere for anyone who holds a Jordanian national number or a personal number from other nationalities.
