Khaberni - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Water Authority said its inspection teams in the Internal Control Unit, in collaboration with the Jordan Water Company Miyaahuna, water basins, and central workshops, and with security escort from the Public Security Directorate - Giza Security Center, Royal Gendarmerie, and the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection, detected new assaults in the south of the capital, Amman, in Giza. These assaults involved a main transmission line of 600 mm diameter that feeds the Giza area. The assaults were disconnected, reports were prepared, and the case was referred to the relevant authorities.
In another context, during the regular survey operations conducted by the internal monitoring teams together with the Jordan Water Company (Miyaahuna) and the Water Authority staff, a building was detected in the Swaileh area. It was collecting non-potable spring water in a large tank and selling it illegally. The pump was confiscated, a report was prepared for the incident, and the necessary procedures will be completed to transfer the offenders to the relevant authorities and to assess the prices and quantities of the infringed water.
