Khaberni - Activists on social media shared details about the killing of the young Jordanian Ali Khader Al-Ashqar in South Africa, an event that stirred up widespread sadness and sympathy.
According to the public narrative, Al-Ashqar, who was 34 years old, was on a video call with his mother and brother from his workplace in the mechanic and car repair business, when he informed them that he would end the call for a few minutes to repair a customer's car.
Minutes later, a call came from the young man’s phone; the family was shocked to see him on camera lying on the ground after being shot. He died from his injuries.
It was shared that Al-Ashqar had been living in South Africa since 2014, was married, and had a five-year-old daughter.
Social media platforms witnessed significant interaction with the incident, amid calls to verify the details and wait for official information from the concerned authorities.
