Khaberni - The Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Administration begins, starting today, Sunday, applying the new technical inspection instructions.
The administration indicated that the new instructions for vehicle licensing are as follows:
- Subjecting small passenger vehicles, motorbikes, and private shared transport vehicles, that are not older than five years, to a technical inspection once when they are registered for the first time.
- Requiring small passenger vehicles, motorbikes, and private shared transport vehicles to undergo a technical inspection once every two years, regardless of the vehicle's manufacturing year, so that vehicles are exempted according to the expiration year of the license and the last digit of the vehicle number.
It noted that, for example, "If the last number of the vehicle is even and the license expiration year is even, the vehicle is exempted from the inspection, and vice versa."
