Amman Arab University conducts an awareness visit for the students of Mobas Secondary School about cybercrimes and drugs

Khaberni  - As part of Amman Arab University's commitment to enhancing legal awareness among the youth, the Faculty of Law carried out an awareness visit to Mobas Secondary School for Girls, during which a series of specialized lectures were presented that addressed the topics of cybercrimes and drugs, aiming to educate the students about their risks and their legal and societal impacts.

The meeting began with Dr. Mohammed Salamat, a faculty member at the Faculty of Law, providing a comprehensive introductory overview of the presented topics, highlighting the most significant legal aspects related to cybercrimes and drugs, and emphasizing the importance of early awareness in curbing the spread of these issues. In turn, Dr. Ibtisam Al-Saleh, a faculty member at the Faculty of Law, gave a detailed explanation of the cybercrime law, reviewing the main challenges facing society in the digital age, and the legal consequences of irresponsible use of technology, especially among students. Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahmad, a faculty member at the Faculty of Law, discussed drug laws, explaining their health and social risks and the legal penalties resulting from their use or promotion, stressing the importance of the role of the family and school in prevention and awareness.

At the end of the visit, the Faculty of Law expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the Directorate of Education of Ain Al-Basha, represented by Dr. Arjuwan Al-Momani, and the school's administration, represented by Mrs. Tamara Al-Kharaisat, and the teaching staff, for the warm reception and constructive cooperation, which contributes to achieving the common educational goals and enhancing the partnership between academic and educational institutions.
