Khaberni - Issued in the latest edition of the Official Gazette, Law No. (10) for the year 2026, the amended Traffic Law, after being ratified by His Majesty King Abdullah II, pursuant to the provisions of Article (31) of the Constitution, and based on what was approved by both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
The law stipulates that it shall be called "Amended Traffic Law for the Year 2026", and shall be read together with the Traffic Law No. (49) of 2008 and its amendments as a single law, to be effective 30 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
According to the amendment, Article (7) of the original law was amended to add a new clause that allows, for the purposes of implementing its provisions, the use of electronic, visual, and audio communication means, in addition to electronic signatures, to enable the notary to perform the tasks specified in the article.
