Khaberni - The president of the Jordan Football Association, Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, announced the absence of the international Jordanian players Yazan Al-Naimat and Adham Al-Quraishi from the World Cup due to their injuries, hoping for their participation in the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.
His Highness said in two tweets via X (formerly Twitter):
We greatly appreciate the tremendous efforts made by our sons Yazan Al-Naimat and Adham Al-Quraishi during their treatment and rehabilitation journey over the past months. Although they sincerely wished to join the Nashama at the World Cup, their injuries precluded them this time.
Best wishes to them for a full recovery and a stronger return to represent Jordan in the Asian Cup.. The Nashama are always up to the dream and responsibility, and we are all confident in their ability to honor Jordan at the World Cup.
