Syria Tension in AlHasakah and the storming of the Justice Palace removing an official plate written in Arabic

Khaberni - The city of Al-Hasakah in Syria witnessed a security alert following the actions of elements from "The Revolutionary Youth" who stormed the Justice Palace and removed an official plate at the entrance of the building labeled Syrian Arab Republic.

The removal of the official plate at the entrance of the building coincided with the raising of flags belonging to the "Self-Administration," according to local sources.

The sources stated that the incident coincided with escalating disagreements between the Syrian government and the "Self-Administration" regarding the management of official institutions in Al-Hasakah and Qamishli, especially after the controversy caused by the removal of the Kurdish language from some official signs inside the justice palaces, which Kurdish parties considered a breach of previous understandings and agreements.

The sources added that the security tension escalated following the Syrian government's attempt to take over the Justice Palace building, while groups affiliated with "The Revolutionary Youth" rejected the move, leading to an intensive security deployment in the vicinity of the building and scattered areas of the city.

Prior to that, a meeting was held in the building of the Governorate of Al-Hasakah in preparation for the reopening of the Justice Palace in the city, including Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad and the presidential team, in a step aimed at reactivating the justice system in the governorate, consolidating the rule of law, and the return of judges to resume their duties.
