Khaberni - The College of Pharmacy at Middle East University, in cooperation with the Dean of Student Affairs and Ibtkar Association for Creativity, organized a volunteer initiative for afforestation within the pathways of sustainable development and enhancing the positive environmental footprint.
Jubilee forests hosted the initiative's events, which saw the planting of about 200 forest saplings with the participation of 40 students from various disciplines, in a field activity aimed at contributing to the rehabilitation of the green patch and enhancing plant diversity in natural areas.
The initiative is part of the university's direction towards building a sustainable environmental culture among students and encouraging their engagement in volunteer work programs that have a developmental impact, supporting national efforts aimed at combating desertification, enhancing environmental stability, and conserving natural resources for future generations.
