AlMuayta sponsors the graduation ceremony of the Syrian Police Training and Rehabilitation Course

Khaberni  - Major General Obaid Allah Al-Muayta, the Director of Public Security, sponsored on Thursday the events of the graduation ceremony of the police training and rehabilitation course for Syrians, held at the Jordanian International Center for Police Training, in the presence of the Syrian Deputy Minister of Interior for Human Resources, Mohammad Fatouh.

This training course was held as part of Jordan’s ongoing role in supporting and building the capacities of Arab security agencies, and enhancing security cooperation and training with brotherly and friendly countries.

The Directorate took care of training this batch fully, covering all their training and financial needs, in support of the Syrian brothers, in line with the directives of the Hashemite leadership in supporting the Syrian brothers in all fields, including police.

The ceremony, attended by a number of senior officers from the Public Security Directorate and the accompanying Syrian delegation, included military displays alongside the execution of advanced field exercises that simulated various security scenarios within different environments reflecting the efficiency of the participants and the quality of the training process, and their ability to perform duties efficiently and competently under various conditions.

During the preparation and rehabilitation phase, 300 new police officers received a comprehensive training program in modern police sciences in addition to practical training programs that included physical fitness, self-defense, and various weapons use, meeting field work requirements and keeping up with the latest security methods.

Major General Al-Muayta distributed appreciation awards to their deserving recipients, wishing them success in performing their security mission in maintaining security and order and serving their homeland and community.

The Director of Public Security urged the graduates to be highly responsible and to be a significant mark in developing and modernizing police work in their homeland, and to convey what they have gained of knowledge and police sciences to their colleagues in all police work fields.

On his part, Mohammad Fatouh praised the efforts made in preparing and rehabilitating the participants, appreciating the ongoing cooperation and coordination, and expressing his gratitude to the Jordanian Public Security Directorate for its efforts and role in the success of the program and achieving its desired goals.
