Khaberni - The Faculty of Science and Information Technology at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized an introductory visit for high school students at Evacuation Schools for Distinguished Education, as well as tenth graders from the Scientific Advancement Nurseries and Schools, within the "Together We Rise" program, to introduce students to university life and contemporary academic disciplines.
The visit included a tour of the university's various facilities, where students were introduced to the educational environment and available academic services, and included visits to the Department of Artificial Intelligence and the Department of Cybersecurity, where students learned about the nature of studies in these fields, the major practical applications, and latest technologies associated with them, in addition to the future opportunities they provide in the local and global job market.
The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Ayesh Al-Haroub, emphasized that these visits are part of the university's commitment to enhancing communication with school students, and opening knowledge horizons for them to learn about future disciplines that are rapidly evolving, which contributes to developing their academic inclinations and aiding them in making informed educational and career decisions.
The visit also provided students with an opportunity to directly interact with faculty members and college students, and to listen to their academic experiences, which helped them form a realistic picture of university life and the requirements of studying in the fields of modern technology, thereby enhancing their readiness for the upcoming university phase.
