Khaberni - Today, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi conducted a brief visit to the United Arab Emirates, during which he held discussions with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan that addressed the current regional developments and ways to enhance cooperation.
El-Sisi emphasized Egypt's full solidarity with the UAE amid the current regional circumstances, affirming Cairo's support for Abu Dhabi's security and stability and its complete rejection of Iranian assaults on its sovereignty, describing them as a blatant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and an escalation threatening regional and international peace and security.
The Egyptian President clearly stated that "what affects the UAE affects Egypt," calling for intensified diplomatic efforts and dialogue to resolve current crises.
For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed his profound appreciation for the Egyptian stance and his country's commitment to continue coordination and consultation with Cairo to face shared challenges.
