Finally, the wires responded to the call of ethics.

A postponement of vice, not its eradication.
A society that needs a telecommunications company to guard its morals —
Is in a coma of values behind a facade of contrived piety!
We replace a moral compass with a tech censor.
And we kill the last atoms of individual responsibility.
And we are surprised when our children grow up unable to make choices —
Because we never granted them the right to choose.
A society that does not choose virtue of its own will — does not possess it.
It rents it from the router.
And every lease expires.
Plato wanted a state ruled by philosophers because the public doesn't know its own best interests.
Foucault said that power not only oppresses — it shapes the body, desire, and consciousness.
And Freud said that what is repressed does not die.
The Jordanian state has not read Freud.
Or perhaps it has — and got scared!
So instead of building a person who can say no with full willingness —
It built a router that says no instead.
And the difference between the two —
Is the difference between virtue and a cage.
And a cage does not refine character.
It angers!
