Khaberni - The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized a specialized scientific workshop titled “3D Bioprinting in Pharmaceutical Research: Applications and Future Perspectives”, presented by Dr. Sarah Al-Malakawi in collaboration with Engineer Shaalan Al-Olayan, a specialist in regenerative medicine, as part of the college's efforts to keep up with the latest scientific and technological developments in the pharmaceutical sector.
The workshop covered the scientific principles of 3D bioprinting technology, its prominent applications in pharmaceutical research and regenerative medicine, alongside showcasing the latest future innovations in this vital field, and their role in the development of drug models and biological tissues used in scientific research.
The workshop witnessed significant attendance and interaction from the college students and faculty members, where it contributed to enhancing their knowledge and research aspect, and linking theoretical concepts with modern practical applications, thus improving their readiness to handle advanced technologies in pharmaceutical sciences.
The event was also attended by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Hasban, and the Vice Dean, Dr. Mohammad Al-Wahsh, who both emphasized the college's commitment to supporting quality scientific activities and providing an academic environment conducive to creativity, innovation, and research excellence.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific events that the college organizes continuously, aimed at developing students' skills and expanding their scientific horizons, aligned with the university's vision in preparing qualified cadres capable of keeping pace with rapid developments in scientific research and modern technology.
