Iranian President Reveals Meeting with Mojtaba

Khaberni  - Iranian President Massoud Bazshkian said today, Thursday, that he recently attended a meeting with guide Mojtaba Khamenei which lasted two and a half hours, following statements and speculations regarding the health of the guide and his injury in American and Israeli attacks on Iran.

The Iranian President added, "The approach of the guide in our recent meeting transformed the atmosphere of the conversation into an environment based on trust and direct dialogue without barriers."

Bazshkian noted - in statements carried by official Iranian media - that Tehran is facing "external pressures designed to increase economic pressure and destabilize internal stability and weaken national cohesion," according to his description.

The Iranian President stated that "the enemy's goal from its pressures is to create a state of general discontent, and push people to take to the streets, and weaken the structure of governance," as he expressed.

Bazshkian blamed the United States saying, "American officials openly talk about intensifying economic pressure on our people with the goal of creating a state of discontent."

He added, however, "the people have thwarted the enemy's schemes despite the conditions of war and the economic pressures they endure."

U.S. officials have often questioned the health condition of the new Iranian guide, who has not appeared publicly since being elected to succeed his father, who was assassinated at the beginning of the American-Israeli war on Iran on February 28.

U.S. President Donald Trump and other officials have repeatedly said that there are schisms within the governing structure in Iran, given the guide's actual absence from the decision-making circle due to his health condition.
