Khaberni - Yarmouk University clarified that intestinal inflammation symptoms were detected among a number of students at its Model School, where the situation was handled promptly and systematically in coordination with the relevant health authorities, and all necessary preventive measures were taken to ensure the safety of the students and the educational staff.
The university confirmed that the health condition of the students is currently stable and under continuous medical monitoring, after providing necessary care for cases requiring medical intervention, without recording any serious complications to date.
The Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Amjad Dhia Allah Al-Nasser, clarified that immediate medical care was provided to the affected students, indicating that the initial results show their health condition is stable.
It was added that a precautionary evacuation of the Model School was executed, as a preventive measure until the completion of lab tests and investigations related to the case, noting that health authorities expect to determine the cause within 48 hours after the analyses are completed.
The university confirmed its continuous careful monitoring of developments, emphasizing the importance of the safety of the students and staff, and the necessity of obtaining information from only official sources.
