The Truth About an Intriguing Condition for Attending Hani Shakers Condolences Ceremony The Musicians Syndicates Head Clari

Khaberni - After rumors spread about a condition to use QR Code to attend the funeral ceremony of the late artist Hani Shaker, Mostafa Kamel, the head of the Musicians' Syndicate, denied the matter entirely, confirming that attendance is open and available to everyone.

And Kamel said in a post on "Facebook" last Wednesday evening, that the condolences will be open and available to all fans of the late artist without any restrictions on attendance, denying the recent rumors about the requirement of obtaining a QR Code.


He also confirmed that the condolence ceremonies will be held today, Thursday, at Abu Shaqqa Mosque in Palm Hills area, Sixth of October City.


Registration form to attend the funeral
The Photographers Division of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate had issued a decision to launch a registration form to cover Shaker's funeral and condolences, who passed away on Sunday, May 3. Magdy Ibrahim, head of the Photojournalists Division, then confirmed that this form guarantees respect for the privacy of human moments and the professional and ethical standards of journalistic work, allowing organized and facilitated coverage of the event.

He also clarified in press statements that the protocol, concluded in cooperation with the Acting Professions Syndicate, aims to organize the event's coverage by professional photographers, preventing identity impersonation by social media page owners as happened previously in public figures and artists' condolences.


The Prince of Arabic Singing
And the Prince of Arabic Singing passed away at the age of 74 last Sunday, after suffering a health setback and being put under observation in intensive care at a hospital in Paris.

Hani Shaker was born in Cairo in 1952, and graduated from the Higher Institute of Music (Conservatory). However, he started his career early in children's programs on Egyptian television before the musician Mohamed El Mougy supported him and introduced him at a major concert with the late Fayza Ahmed where he performed the song (Sweet Life) written by Fathi Ghandour.

He also released dozens of music albums including (On Laugh Story), (Every Lover's Story), (Shower), (What’s Wrong with My Heart), (I Wish), (The Beautiful Dream), (My Wound), (Name on Paper), (Today is Beautiful) and performed concerts in most countries around the world also participated in major artistic festivals. He appeared in several films such as (Living for Love) in 1974 alongside Nelly and Mohamed Awad, and (This One I Love, This One I Want) in 1975, and (The Magic Lamp) in 1977.

Additionally, the late artist held the position of head of the Musicians' Syndicate for the first time in 2015, then won a second term before he tendered his resignation in July 2022.
